Why We Go Out, And Why We’re Not Stopping
It started with a simple idea: go out in the evening, find people with nowhere to sleep, and offer something warm — a bowl of soup, a hot beverage, a blanket, or simply a conversation. There is no agenda beyond showing up.
Crisis in Our City has been doing that since November 2025. What started as a single outreach night has become four RV projects over four months, reaching hundreds of people across the city. The need has remained constant — and so have we.
What We’ve Seen on the Streets
Over six nights, we have handed out blankets, tuques, gloves, warm soup, and hot beverages to hundreds of people. But what stays with you is not the logistics — it’s the conversations.
